Kenya Airways has revised its local flight schedule to increase the capacity for travel to the Kisumu and Mombasa routes during the Easter holiday festivities.
Kenya Airways Chief Executive Sebastian Mikosz said, through a press statement, that six flights will be upgraded to operate Boeing 787 Dreamliner on the Nairobi- Mombasa route.
“There will be two flights on Thursday 18th April, one flight on Good Friday, one flight on Easter Sunday and two flights on Easter Monday,” read the statement.
Kenya Airways CEO, Sebastian Mikosz said the upgrade will be in readiness of the high demand for travel expected during the Easter season.
“The increased capacity will give our customers greater choice and flexibility in planning their travel during this peak travel period. Our customers to Mombasa will also get a chance to experience the state-of the-art Dreamliner which usually operates on international routes” he further said.
