The Strathmore School of Tourism and Hospitality recently held a career fair at the Strathmore graduation.
The 2018 career fair offered a networking opportunity for Strathmore University students, alumni and organizations present.
Kenya Association of Travel Agents (KATA) was among the organizations at the career fair meeting and connecting with the Strathmore University students and alumni to help them explore their career options, employer expectations and available internship or job opportunities.
“As the world is steadily becoming a global village; innovation, technology and change are inevitable, therefore we urge fresh graduates to focus on problem solving skills and innovative ideas so as to remain relevant and be one step ahead of their peers,” opined Ms. Eve Lucky of KATA during the career fair.
The aim of the Mini Career Fair was to provide networking opportunities for the Bachelor of Tourism and Bachelor of Hospitality students as they prepare to map out their careers and to connect the industry with talent.Back to news articles
