The Kenya Association of Travel Agents (KATA) will host this year’s Annual General Meeting in September marking a departure from the traditional mid- July date.
Chairman of the Association Mohammed Wanyoike revealed that this year’s meeting will be held from 7-9 September at Enashipai Lodge at the shores of Lake Naivasha in Naivasha town. “We are asking members to turn out in large numbers for this historic AGM”, he told Coast region members during a recent members meeting.
CEO Mr. Nicanor Sabula explains that this year’s AGM will be big and will mark the inauguration of KATA’s Travel Agents Annual Convention that will be held every year alongside AGM. The convention will combine the Travel Agents Innovation Forum and the AGM and will see participation from the travel industry both local and international.
