Travel agents can now book, hold and issue Fastjet (FN) electronic tickets direct on behalf of their clients using the Galileo System.
In a statement, Fastjet and Travelport say that they have teamed up to make the booking process easier and more convenient for agents.
Agents seeking to apply or request for ticketing authority, are advised to send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org attaching their IATA letter of accreditation after which they would be notified once authority is granted. “All BSP agents are allowed to issue FN flights on the FN-334 ticketing stock with payment via cash, Visa or MasterCard credit card only. This excludes Zimbabwe where credit card payment functionality has been allowed for,” reads a statement from Fastjet.
Fastjet is a low cost carrier that flies into various cities within the East and Southern Africa regions from its base in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The airline exited the Kenyan airspace in December 2016 citing low demand after operating for only 11 months.Back to news articles
