PCI DSS Comes into Force, IATA Says Wait  14th Mar 2018

Travel Agents in Kenya will have to wait a little longer before they are allowed to submit their evidence of compliance with PCI DSS to IATA, even as the deadline announced by IATA for agents to comply lapsed.  IATA had given agents until 1 March, 2018 to have complied with the new requirement.

According to IATA, Travel Agents are not required to submit any evidences of PCI DSS compliance and they will be advised by IATA when this evidence is required including the applicable timeframe. IATA states that it is committed to the industry objective of supporting Travel Agent achievement of PCI DSS compliance in a timely manner, and welcomes all possible solution providers who can assist Travel Agents with this important cause.
