KATA hosts UFTAA President at Breakfast Meeting  28th Feb 2018

KATA recently hosted the President of the Universal Federation of Travel Agents Associations (UFTAA) who is also the President of the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) Mr. Sunil Kumar at a breakfast meeting in Nairobi. Held under the theme “Changing Business Environment, Why the Fittest will Survive”, the objective of the meeting was to provide a comprehensive overview of the current trends, transformation and changes in the travel business, as well as share the experience of how different markets are preparing for the change.


The meeting covered a wide array of subjects including the economic impact of travel and tourism, growth prospects of the industry, effects of technological disruptions, emerging innovations and technologies as well as the impact of the new changes introduced by IATA.
